Lindsay Glassman, Esq. lglassman@floridalawyerdefenseteam.com Ms. Glassman was born in Baltimore, Maryland and raised in Broward County Florida. She graduated University of Florida with Honors, with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and a minor in Business. Ms. Glassman was a Florida Bright Future Scholar all 4 years. After college, Ms. Glassman attended University of Miami Law School where she received a Juris Doctorate and graduated top 15% in her class. During Law school Ms. Glassman clerked for the Honorable Judge Roberto Pineiro of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, was awarded membership to the Inter-American Law Review, made the Dean's List, and won Best Oral Advocate in the Advanced Moot Court Competition. Ms. Glassman is a former Assistant Public Defender for the 11th Judicial Circuit where she successfully represented clients facing various criminal charges including: Armed Robbery, Burglary, Drug Sales, Grand theft, DUI/DWI, and probation violations. Ms. Glassman now has extensive statewide trial experience. She has expanded her trial experience to include representing clients from charges including Attempted Murder, Rape/Sexual Battery, Child Molestation, Felony Drug Charges, Internet Solicitation, Gun charges, Probation Violation Hearings, as well as numerous other criminal charges. Ms. Glassman has extensive and very successful Motion Practice including numerous wins on Motions to Dismiss and Motions to Suppress on high-profile criminal cases. Ms. Glassman has been mentioned in the Miami Herald, the Sun Sentinel and seen on the local news stations for her representation of clients. Ms. Glassman is a current member of the Florida Bar, and is a member of the Broward Association for Criminal Defense Lawyers. She is active in the community and a huge fan of the Arts. She sits on the Executive Committee for the New World Symphony Orchestra where she lobbies and organizes efforts to enhance the cultural awareness in the community. She is also a member of the Surfrider Foundation that helps to protect our oceans, waves and beaches by fighting for clean water, and Beach Preservation. |
